Small little place, if you blinked you'd miss it, as you drive by it towards the local Waitrose & shops...They hitch-hiked down from Liverpool & played the first of two gigs on the 23rd of April 1960, during the Easter holidays ...I've been past it hundreds of times, but never been inside the place.. Maybe it's time I did ...Imagine being served by John & Paul, back in the day & hearing them sing & play ..I bet the customers on those nights never realised that they were witnessing historical music folklore in the making!!! 😃🎸🎶
